These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of House History Check (“we”, “us”) and the property history reports we sell. By purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
House History Check compiles publicly available U.S. property records — including ownership, sales, tax, permit, zoning, and related information — into a PDF report. We are an independent research service and are not affiliated with any government agency, title company, or law firm.
2. Ordering & Delivery
After purchase, you must provide the property address to be researched via the order note at checkout or by replying to your order confirmation email. Standard reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours; Premium reports within 24 hours. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on record availability in the property’s county.
3. No Guarantee of Completeness
Reports are compiled on a best-effort basis from public records that vary in completeness and accuracy by jurisdiction. We do not guarantee that every historical record for a property exists in public archives or will be found. Reports are provided for informational and research purposes only and are not a substitute for a licensed title search, survey, appraisal, or legal advice.
4. Payments
All reports are one-time purchases. We do not enroll customers in subscriptions or recurring billing.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House History Check is not liable for decisions made based on information contained in a report, including real estate purchase, sale, or financing decisions. Always verify critical information through licensed professionals before making a real estate transaction.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
